How do I place an order?

It’s very simple; choose your baits, boilies, sizes, quantities and validate your cart. At the last step, we will ask you to stipulate your arrival date and your choice of parcel collection: parcel pick-up point near your lake, or parcel-collection-point near your arrival point in France.

What are the options for the collection of my package?

You are free to choose between two options:

– Pick-up near your destination lake: on the day of your arrival, you simply pick up your parcel at the drop-off point whose address we will give you after your order. These drop-off points are located less than 15 minutes from your lake and on your route.

– Parcel collection near your arrival point in France: Whether you arrive in Calais, Caen, Cherbourg, Roscoff, Le Havre Paris, Saint-Malo, Limoges, we have partner drop-off points where you can simply collect your bait. No diversion, it’s on your way, it will take you less than 5 minutes to get there.

 

What collection options should I choose for my bait?

You are free to choose the collection method you want, depending on the organisation of your trip.

However, depending on your arrival and your travel time, you may prefer certain options.

Depending on your arrival time in France, we recommend the following steps:

Arrival in the night : Delivery near the lake (when you arrive near the lake the collection point will be open)

arrival between 7am and 1pm : Free choice

Arrival after 1pm: We advise you to pick up your bait-package close to the port of destination or arrival point in France.

Indeed, if you arrive late in France, with traffic problems, your arrival near the lake will also be late and thus probably outside the opening hours of our drop-off points. In this case, you might be better to consider a collection point on your arrival, near your port of entry in France.

What are the options for collection near the arrival points in France?

We have several drop-off points at each “gateway” to France (Calais, Cherbourg, Caen, Saint-Malo, etc.). Their great particularity is that they have been selected to offer a wide range of opening hours (generally from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm or longer hours) and that they are on your route. So, you won’t need to make any big detours and you won’t have any difficulty finding them. Our priority is the simplicity of removing your bait but also to save you time.

When should I place my order in relation to the date of my stay?

The sooner the better, as this allows us to organise ourselves as best we can in the various tasks of preparing your order. This will allow us to plan the manufacture perfectly and the  dispatch of your baits, according to your arrival date.

We therefore advise you to place your order at the latest one month before your arrival.

If you cannot meet this deadline, please contact us and we will offer you a selection of bait in stock for guaranteed collection on arrival.

How long before my arrival in France does my bait arrive at my collection point?

As a precaution we always deliver your baits to the drop off point several days before your arrival (between 5 and 7 days). This allows us to avoid any delay in delivery and therefore to guarantee you 100% that you will be able to collect your package on arrival.
In order to preserve the quality and attractiveness of our baits, we generally produce them a few weeks before your arrival in France.
We use the right amount of preservative to guarantee a good conservation during storage and transport, without impacting the health of the carp nor the attractiveness of the bait to the fish.

Am I sure that I will be able to benefit from my baits on time?

This is our top priority and the very reason for the existence of Hexabaits. By receiving your order no later than 1 month before your arrival in France, we are able to secure delivery to the collection point of your choice. At all stages of our work, we have a time margin which we use to ensure 100% availability of your baits at the time of your collection. Delays are not part of our philosophy and we guarantee 100% availability of your baits at the time of your arrival.

Do I need to place an order per angler or for my group?

It is preferable that you place only one order per group (i.e. per stay).

If you wish to order per angler and not a group order for the same stay, we recommend that you pick up your order at a relay point near your arrival point in France. You can also give us the name of the person in charge of the reservation in “Order notes”.

Please note that all your orders must be received 1 month before your arrival date.

What are the shelf lives of your baits? Shelf-life or Frozen boilies ?

Of course, we use shelf-life boilies but we use preservatives in moderation. This allows your baits to withstand transport, storage for a few days in our depots and the duration of your stay without any problems. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the quality of the preservatives, particularly thanks to natural ingredients. This has a positive effect on the general quality of the baits and their effectiveness.

 

If your lake requires frozen boilies then simply go to packages and create your own custom bait pack. You will have the choice to specify if you want shelf life or frozen boilies

What are the delivery costs?

Delivery costs include the logistics of processing your order, shipping costs but also storage costs at each relay point. They will be automatically calculated during the process of your order. Here is the list of delivery costs:

– £19 for orders under 100Kg

– £29 for orders of 100kg and over

What happens once the order is placed?

You will receive a first order-confirmation email with a list of the different next steps. You will receive a second email when your order is produced and a third when it is dispatched.

In this last email you will receive all the instructions related to the collection of your baits, as well as a link allowing you to follow, in real time, their transport to the deposit point.

How do I collect my package?

Nothing could be simpler, just take your passport and give your name to the person present at the drop-off point.

What happens if my reservation is cancelled?

If your reservation is cancelled for any reason, simply let us know and we will cancel your order. You will receive a voucher for the value of your order that will be valid for 18 months. Please let us know as soon as possible and no later than 15 days in advance.

What happens if my booking is postponed?

If you have to postpone your stay, simply contact us with your order number and the new date of your stay. We will adapt our production and dispatch process according to this new date so that you can enjoy your bait at the right time.
